Godzilla Release Date Confirmed

The new Godzilla film has been given a May 16th, 2014 release date.

Okay, that’s still quite a while away, but director Gareth Edwards is working with David Goyer (Batman trilogy) on this one, and aims to capture a darker mood and tone than other Godzilla attempts.  I doubt this will mean a hark back to 1990s American Godzilla, but more likely a new incarnation.

Time will tell.
