Twilight: Eclipse Script Leaked

According to reports, a 110-page version of the script for Twilight: Eclipse has been leaked online.

The document is supposed to have leaked online earlier in the weak, and is now available across the internet if you know what you’re looking for.

According to Den of Geek, the script’s authenticity has been confirmed, but claims it is unlikely to do the film’s box office performance much damage in the long-run.  It isn’t a final copy for one thing.

Then again, if you can’t wait (though to my knowledge, most of the appeal of the movie franchise involves Robert Pattinson being on screen) you can trawl through the illicit recesses of the online world for the much coveted piece-of-script.

Back to the Future on Blu-ray This Year

So 2010 marks the 25th Anniversary of Back To The Future and what better way to mark the anniversary than releasing the trilogy on Blu-Ray. I know a lot of fans have been chanting at the bit for the film to be released onto the high definition format, but it looks like the wait is over.

A Spanish DVD site released the following image just after Christmas of 2009 claiming it to be the official sell sheet from none other than Universial Studio’s;

When I first saw this image I squeed slightly with excitment, as many of you do not know that the Back To The Future Trilogy is my all time favourite set of movies, so with the excitment building I found another website called digitalbits who must also share my enthusiasm for Back To The Future has already dug around and found the sell sheet to be fake… crap… but don’t lose all hope with that revelation because they also report;

The reason it was thought to be authentic is that it was based on an authentic sellsheet for the recent DVD re-release, so the formatting was authentic. Regardless, we’re made to believe that the title IS currently planned for Blu-ray Disc release later in 2010 – another factor that added to the confusion.

So my fellow Doc Brown fans, buckle up those seat belts and prepare to go Back To The Future in high definition later this year.

It was revived in 2003 in a new version starring Edward James Olmos.

Family Guy meets The Next Generation.

Just a few news updates i feel worth posting.

The cartoon Family Guy will apparently have an episode on the 29th of March with a plot containing the ENTIRE cast of The Next Generation.

In the episode titled “Not All Dogs Go to Heaven,” the “Next Gen” crew (Patrick Stewart, Levar Burton, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Wil Wheaton, Denise Crosby, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Jonathan Frakes) will provide guest voices as the Griffin family heads to the annual Quahog “Trek” convention.

“Stewie blows a fuse when he doesn’t get a chance to ask his favorite ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ cast members any questions,” reads the logline. “He devises a plan, builds a transporter and beams the entire cast to his bedroom so they can spend a fun-filled day together in Quahog

Fringe Gets Full Season Pickup From Fox

fringe51 Following some reasonably impressive ratings (this week’s episode scoring a 18-49 demographic-winning 6.2/9), JJ Abrams sci-fi show Fringe has received a full season pickup from FOX.

Originally comissioned for thirteen episodes, the move will see the drama starring Lord of the Rings’ John Noble run for a full twenty-two instalments.

This makes it the first new series from the big four American television networks to receive such a pick-up; surely a show of confidence given the show’s performance.

In other Fringe related trivia, according to Wikipedia, a cow used in the pilot episode had to be replaced in subsequent episodes due to livestock restrictions preventing it from being brought from Canada to the United States. Allegedly, if viewers note the difference in the cow’s appearance, the production team members have said they will paint new cows to match the original.

Craig’s Tabloids : David Tennant Dating On-Screen Daughter

who404_675807cAccording to the Telegraph, Doctor Who actor David Tennant is currently seeing his co-star Georgia Moffett, who plays his on-screen daughter.

Yes, although its none of our business, the relationship between Tennant, 37, and Moffett, 23, is raising some eyebrows.

As if it wasn’t odd enough that Moffett is Tennant’s on-screen daughter, she is the real-life daughter of Peter Davison, who played one of Doctor Who’s previous incarnations.

The two were spotted at Moffett’s house, and Tennant spent the night, leaving at 11am the next morning.

According to the Telegraph, a “friend” of Miss Moffett’s said: “They have been going out together for a while now but meet up at each other’s houses so as to avoid being spotted by Who fans.
