Do I have to register? To be able to use all the features on this board, it is required that you register for a member account. However, you do not have to be registered to leave a message. Registration is free and only takes a moment to complete. During registration, the adminstrator requires that you supply a valid email address.

Once you have registered and logged in, you will have access to your private messenger and your control panel.

What is the Control Panel? Your control panel is your own private board console. You can change how the board looks and feels as well as your own information from here.

What's an avatar? Can I have one? An avatar is a image that is placed under a username. We allow members to choose from a selection of pre-installed avatars if they wish. You can change your avatar in the Edit Avatar Settings section of your control panel.

What is the Personal Messenger? Your personal messenger acts much like an email account in that you can send and receive messages and store messages in folders.

Who are moderators and administrators? Can I be one? A moderator is a member of the board who has been chosen by Sci-Fi Heaven to monitor messages posted. Moderators have the power to edit and delete messages. An administrator is basically a moderator but with more powers. At the moment, we are not accepting applications for moderators, simply because we already have enough. If the site becomes busier in the future, we will open applications for more moderators.
