The LA Times have posted a great gallery of photographs they’ve taken on a recent behind-the-scenes trip to the set of Stargate Atlantis.
The gallery contains around 40 exclusive, high-quality shots.
Gateworld.net suggest the photographs are from upcoming episodes “Tracker” and “The Queen” - suitably inspiring episode names from Stargate Atlantis. Not.

Ain’t It Cool News broke the news yesterday that Stan Winston passed on two nights ago after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma; an incurable-but-treatable form of cancer that attacks the plasma cell, a crucial part of the immune system. Winston apparently battled with the disease for seven years.

For those of you who weren’t aware, J.K. Rowling handwrote an 800-word short prequel to Harry Potter for a charity auction.
The handwritten story was sold for £25,000 ($48,858).
The story has now leaked online, featuring a young Sirius Black and James Potter, and you can read the two pages below.
