So hang on, what’s this all about?

Good question. Sci-Fi Heaven.net certainly isn’t your standard sci-fi news site - if anything, it’s closer to a blog. Our staff post articles on what’s happening in the sci-fi universe, and basically ramble about anything they like. We don’t just report facts, we read into them, and we can only hope this makes the site more interesting for you.
So, just the staff can post?

Not at all! Everybody can post articles, and we encourage you to! After you register, you can see the “Site Admin” button and you can use it to write your own articles. After some good articles, you won’t have to wait for approval, and you’ll get promoted. So it’s all worth it. Your articles help vary our writing style (and also to speed Craig’s blogs down the page ;) ).
Do I need to register here separately from at the forum?

I’m afraid so. Accounts at the bulletin board and main site are currently unrelated. However, we would ask that you register with the same name for consitency’s sake. (And in case we tie the two together at some point in the future.)
Why don’t my comments show up immediately?

If you haven’t commented before, then you may need an administrator’s approval in order for your comment to be visible to the general public (for obvious reasons).
Why on earth has Craig not been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, 1983?
