Staff

Our somewhat eccentric band of writers include:

Chris McQuillan

Founder of Sci-Fi Heaven.net, Chris has been here since 1997 slowly shaping the site through each of its different incarnations. Often described as the one with the least personality - Chris hopes this new site will quash any of those rumours, as he writes the most informative and, indeed, witty articles that the site has yet seen. He will, of course, fail. But it’s the trying that counts, right?

Craig King

Things just get weirder. Craig is… well, we’re not sure what he’s even doing here. He’s a leech… a parasite - clamping on to quality and pretending its his. His humour is unique, and his sexual activities are even more questionable. Yet still, we tolerate his presence as it gives us an occasional chuckle.

Joss Gateway

Now, we have the fantastic Gateway. A Stargate fanatic, and all round nice guy, Gateway livens up wherever he posts with some intelligent humour. His posts are highly anticipated and thoroughly enjoyed by all readers. Just don’t mention the SFH London Trip of 2005, as he has yet to forgive Chris.

Mel Orr

Mel joined the Sci-Fi Heaven staff in June 2007. Based in the United States, he writes our retro Doctor Who pieces, as well as whatever else leaps to mind. Gateway’s new best friend - someone who a) loves Doctor Who and b) isn’t fed up with him yet.

Brad Lauzon

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Brad is our modern Doctor Who guy. A critical enthusiast, he writes fantastic reviews and articles on the show (and he’s also a big Father Ted fan!).

Alex Iliescu

Wheezle. The lurker. He’s basically like Daniel Jackson. He was on the team from the very beginning, for a long time, and was a steadfast and loyal member. Until one epis.. day, when he decides other websites would be better than ours, so he “ascends” to them. Then, realising this is a bad career move, he came crawling back. Still ashamed to show his face too much, he can be seen cowering behind rocks around the site, and occasionally comes out of his cave to post.

Robert Crowston

Rumoured to be the true power behind Sci-Fi Heaven, this underage tyrant has joined the site in the past few years. A proven genius at just about anything, Rob has shown that he cannot be stopped by any mere mortal. With a sharp wit and geeky nature, Rob is right at home on Sci-Fi Heaven, and even finds time to post about a few things here and there.
