If you (like so many of us) are concerned by escalating fuel prices, please take a look at this ridiculous piece from Anatole Kaletsky, frequent columnsist from The Times. 

Supposedly one of the country’s “leading commentators on economics“, this article does him few favours.

I know some Sci-Fi fans may not have much interest in this, but many share an interest with me in American politics.  Quite how FOX News get away with this sort of thing is beyond me, but there’s no way you can spin this to make it look any worse.

It’s a response to the recent uproar surrounding Hillary Clinton’s comment surrounding JFK’s assassination, that I do believe has been blown out of proportion.  Nonetheless, the FOX guest is discussing the aftermath of the comments.

“And now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama… I mean Obama.  Well, both if we could.”

Not much you can say about that, other than shake your head in disbelief.
